Plugging In to the Dinacharya
We can experience incredible well-being by simply plugging our natural rhythms with that of the great rhythm of the Universe. A very slow, steady, hip/hamstring class focusing on breath, depth, and grounding of the nervous system. Longer holds and pauses are inserted in order to truly feel the effects of our practice. We peak in full Vashistasana.
Brisk (Really Brisk) Flow
Standing poses, Sun Salutations, and quite a few chatturangas and planks. All the poses are Level 2 with a Level 3 pacing. This is a fantastic sequence for cardiovascular work, building strength, and cultivating endurance. Fasten your seat belts: I had a shot of espresso before doing this practice. Savasana on your own.
Good Morning Sunshine!
When we start the day with a morning practice we have the opportunity to 'begin again' and set the pace for the day. Morning practices are more playful, lively, and experimental. This is a dynamic class which includes sun salutations, handstand hopping (with hands on blocks!), bird of paradise and backbend variations. Inserted within the class are Surya and Chandra Bhedana Pranayama. Greet the day. Greet your Self.
